Maha Haider is a creative director and founder of Definitely Extra.

With Palestinian roots, she spent her childhood between Syria and Lebanon before later living in the UK and Italy, shaping a perspective that moves naturally across cultures.

Since 2018, she has worked across advertising and luxury, developing a practice built around concept, strategy, and image-making. Prior to founding Definitely Extra in 2021, she collaborated with international agencies, brands, and publications, building a strong foundation within the fashion and creative industries.

Her work is defined by a distinct visual language informed by a “future nostalgia” approach, bringing together references from fashion, pop culture, and contemporary image-making into cohesive narratives.

She collaborates with global brands and international celebrities across fashion and entertainment.

Alongside her practice, she teaches art direction at IED Istituto Europeo di Design and has lectured at Central Saint Martins, contributing to the development of emerging creatives. She also works on branding and strategy projects with international groups, bridging creative direction with a broader industry perspective.

Through Definitely Extra, she develops and directs visual worlds across image, film, and physical experiences.
